Japanese nautanki Empty Japanese nautanki

okay this stock is added in every dish in japan..i wondered what is it, how it is made...does it really make sense.

is it obsessive compulsive nature of japanese to stick to some wierd traditions that has trikled into their cooking to make nothing out of everything..and i dont know how it will add 'flavor' to already strong flavoured omlette. my husband finds sushi over rated and expensive piece of food..so does anthony bourdain...he was laughing his ass out in japan as he came across few strands of grass with pieces of red radish served in one restaurant.
